Yeddie is a baby apparel company located in Vancouver BC that specializes in adorable, comfortable baby hats made from natural materials.
It was founded by long-time BFFs Alex Lee Behan and Mary Kellough-Warren, whose friendship has lasted two decades. In this, the 20th year of their friendship, they both gave birth to sons within weeks of each other!
Finding The Yeddie
As we all know, finding a yeti in the wild is extremely difficult.
That’s how we felt when we were looking for hats for our newborns. Where could we find a hat that kept him warm, was made out of natural fibers, and was easy to put on? Those stretchy baby caps are nuisance, and they don’t stay on.
We have never found that perfect hat; it seemed as elusive as (you guessed it) a yeti! So we came up with the idea to make our own.
Yeddie is the name for our line of baby wear made from natural fibers.
It’s also the name for our logo and mascot, Yeddie. There haven’t been any actual sightings of him yet, but he’s getting considerably less shy, so keep your eyes peeled!
